Enterprise skills for pre-production planning

While recording the podcast I worked with others as well as used communication skills as I have another presenter in addition to myself. I messaged the person I wanted to be in the podcast a week before I intended to record it, then on the day they were able to keep a time slot open in-order to record. This was the preferred method as I could have waited until the day to ask and the other presenter may have already had a prior engagement because I didn't give enough notice.  I worked independently when creating the logo as well as collecting the sound effects for my podcast. Theses were the most notable and important to the podcast its self but I worked independently for all parts of the pre-production process excluding the recording of the podcast and initial brainstorming of ideas where I required the help of others to increase the quality of the product however, i had to work independently and take initiative when first creating my idea as there was no...

B2-Time Management

While creating my statement of intention I made sure to prioritize the first part as I knew that it would take more time than for example the equipment section, I also set a deadline to finish this first post by to insure that I would complete all the blog posts in the time required. I spent most of my time while writing my pre-production planning completing the non-original materials section as this is the most time consuming to find the appropriate sound as well as the link to the page on 'FreeSound'. most of the other parts were quite brief and didn't require me to spend much time on them. It was imperative that I met the deadline for this blog post as without it I wouldn't have been able to record the podcast or complete the next blog post.      To source my materials I had to put the largest time investment into the original audio as I also had to wait for my other presenter to be available in-order to record the podcast. The lo...

B2 Considerations Appropriate to Product and Sector

Copyright laws: Podcasting is free from government regulations. Pod-casters don't need to buy a license to broadcast, as radio stations do, and they don't need to conform to the Federal Communication Commission's which means anything is allowed. Though, pod-casters can copyright or license their work. Creative Commons is just one online resource for copyrights and licenses. My product will adhere to the aforementioned regulations as I will make sure that any sounds that I download and use in my podcast are under the Creative Commons 0 licence to avoid copyright claims once I upload my video to Sound cloud or YouTube, I will not any background music either because I wish to use as little unoriginal content as possible.  For sounds downloaded from 'Freedsound' .

B2 Pre-production Planning

Script Opening: What’s up guys (introduce presenters) from Archie's reviews here, bringing you another recommendation/review of (the new, our favorite, the long anticipated) Netflix TV show (name of show). Proceed to talk about the mentioned film, including the best episodes, an overall rating of the show out of 10, our favorite characters and plot points that we think may have been confusing. Closing: Thank you for watching, catch you later. Recording Studio I will use a quiet room in college. It is vital that the room is silent so the audio recorded is of high quality with as minimal background noise as possible. Cast Me and Carter Clarke. As in my research I found that most people prefer podcasts that include more than one presenter, this will also help me for fill my creative brief as it will be more lighthearted and engaging if there are two people having a conversation rather than one in an essay type format.   Production schedule I ai...

B1 Statement of Intention

Statement of Intention My idea will consist of me as well as another presenter posting a short recommendation video lasting no more than ten minutes.  The other presenter who has seen the show and I review the series in depth and explain endings or things that may be confusing to some viewers, talk about characters and what we think of the season as a whole, also which episodes are slow and things that may turn  people off of the show at the beginning . How is it Inline with the Creative Brief My product is inline with what is stated in the creative brief as it is low budget so requires minimal resources to create. It is able to be created in a format that can be posted on YouTube as well as show the company logo. The video length meets the requirement for videos to be short but informative I think that ten minutes is the ideal length to include the relevant information while also not being to time consuming and not turning the viewer off of the video before they star...
